Sri Lanka’s national Mobile service provider, Mobitel, is on a journey toward becoming Carbon neutral. Supporting this effort, we found an effective method of using an existing medium to reduce Mobitel’s paper usage. Their own PAPER BILL.

Every paper bill delivered to a customer will include a ‘tear-here’ section which has printed on it, tree trunks. This will reiterate the need to cut down trees to produce paper, and the environmental harm caused by it; this would prompt people to ‘stop tearing and start caring’, encouraging them to subscribe to Mobitel’s e-billing service.
